Stock boards feature set dimensions, volumes and design elements that Nev has perfected over decades. Each size is fine-tuned for optimal all-round performance. Boards with stock dimensions can begin shaping as soon as your order is placed.

For custom orders, start by filling out the Custom Enquiry form. If you're after custom dimensions, we’ll arrange a consultation with Nev to design a board tailored to your style and needs. A custom design fee of AU$140 applies to cover the personalised design process and preparation of your board file.

Want to add a colour finish to your board? Colour sprays and resin tints are available for an additional cost:
Colour Sprays – Rp950K/AU$95 per board
Resin Tints – Rp1250K/AU$125 per board
The cost will be automatically added when you select a colour finish before adding your board to the cart.

All boards are made to order and built specifically for you. Once confirmed, your board will take approximately 2–3 weeks to build.

We offer free delivery across Bali for all surfboard orders. Once your board is ready, we’ll deliver it directly to your villa, surf stay, or hotel. If you’re traveling to Bali, we can hold your order in our boardroom until you’re ready for delivery.

Note: All of our colours are mixed by hand. We use a special formula to keep our colour mixes as consistent as humanly possible. Due to the methods of how colours are applied to boards during the glassing process, we cannot guarantee an 'exact' colour match to what you see on your digital screen. However, we can confirm that the final colour of your board will be pretty close to what you see in the colour palette above.

The Funshape is a versatile mid-length that challenges traditional surfboard categories. Originally shaped in the late ’80s for Gold Coast surfer John Nielsen, this model combines the paddle power and flow of a mid-length with the precision and responsiveness of a high-performance board.
Featuring a balanced nose, round tail, and subtle yet effective foil distribution, the Funshape offers smooth rail transitions and surprising responsiveness for its size. Its rocker and bottom contours borrow from big-wave gun designs—allowing it to carry speed effortlessly and maintain control in steeper sections, while the fuller outline keeps it accessible and forgiving in everyday surf.
It’s a board that sits confidently between the MOAB and traditional shortboards—ideal for surfers who want mid-length usability without excess bulk. A long-time favourite in the California scene, the Funshape appeals to surfers chasing more waves and effortless fun across a variety of conditions.
With a legacy that spans decades and a feel that’s still ahead of its time, the Funshape remains a dynamic mid-length option for surfers who value both style and performance.
